A temporary cycle lane has been provided during roadworks on the Seven Stations route, while pedestrians are supposed to take a dogleg to the left - naturally that's not happening, they're just walking along the temporary cycle lane.
The point of cycle hoops is that they go on existing poles - if they're going to install poles specially, they might as well install proper Sheffield stands !

Good intentions, but stands at 45 degree to the wall would have given far more capacity (almost no-one uses the space between the stand and the wall).

It's interesting how many cyclists turn right here - an asphalt path on the far side of the sign would be helpful.

Route signs for Colchester and Tiptree from the shared path link with Winstree Road (through Woden Avenue).
This useful route between Winstree Road and NCN Route 1 crosses a couple of very quiet roads in this no-through Avenue.
This is a very good and useful pathway linking Winstree Road with NCN Route 1 via a traffic-free route.
The Cunobelin Way cycle path continues the other side of Temple Road. This crossing and others along Cunobelin Way could do with "elephant feet".

The scene greeting visitors to Cambridge on their way from the railway station. An acute lack of secure cycle parking leads to bikes parked insecurely to the wooden railing, with the result of this vandalism.
What happens when there's not enough cycle parking: people park several spaces abreast, and bikes fall over. In this case, this is done to excess. And so bikes end up in the path of passing vehicles, with wheels being flattened.
Pot hole directly in cycle path - remains unfixed despite complaints to council. Cyclists have to swerve into path of traffic to avoid.
